Aardvark

The name is somehow unpronounceable but the idea behind it sounds great. If you like to learn and share knowledge or even trivial things, this is the right site for you. By the way..this site was recently bought by google.

Cooliris

I think it's always a good exercise to try something new each day. Cooliris for instance, can be downloaded for Google Chrome and is the official media app for Google's new superphone Nexus One. Have a look at it here.

Happy 2010!

Nothing like a new year for a fresh start with tons of creativity. Most things here are useless but who cares? Useless is not necessarily bad :)

Save the words!

If you love words and reading as much as I do, you might want to take that step further and adopt a word. I have already adopted mine and by doing so I am commited to use it as much as I can in a wide range of different occasions and contexts. Read more about it here!

greatest ice cube list

My favourite ones...frozen smiles, gin and titonic ice tray and the shark fin ice cube :)

Lumosity: Brain Games

Perfect for people (just like me) who have got a lousy memory. Here you can learn how to work out your memory, concentration, flexibility and speed. Plus you can also become aware of some techniques to improve your mood, cope with stress or solve problems. It's fun, it's useful and it's free.

Aroma USB drives

More and more creative minds are constantly at work :) These Aroma drives have the "minor" setback of having no internal memory, but serve the purpose of spreading fresh fragrances once they are connected to an USB port. They are refillable and the preloaded fragrance (lavender, lemongrass, or orange) lasts up to a week of continuous use (I wonder how expensive the refills are?). One can imagine that the idea of having a drive with no memory may sound quite preposterous to some of us, but these drives look so cool that it is hard not to want one! Have a look at the site here.

Christmas in October

There's someone else out there who hates the fact that Christmas is striking earlier and earlier each year. This cartoon is from zombie-manger-invasion comic, ironically, from the Hallmark blog :)

To all the Sci-Fi fans out there!

One has to admit that the world is divided into two parts: sci-fi lovers and sci-fi haters. There is NO in between. I happen to be a sci-fi lover so I decided to share an apparently crappy site that looks like the scrambled eggs of science fiction. You can find good stuff about your favourite movies and series together with Wonder Woman or complex essays on the 4 Reasons why Zombies And Superheroes don't Mix :) All mediums get covered: television shows, movies, books, and even comics. The editors can tell the difference between Cylons and Klingons, and the editorials give you more to stretch your mind than just the typical geek debates. You can have a look at the site here!

Inamo: Tech oriental fusion restaurant

Going to a restaurant where you can order, pay your meal, call a taxi, check the underground routes or play games before/while/after you eat by merely touching a screen on your table is now possible. All you have to do is go to Inamo restaurant in London’s fashionable SoHo district. This new Asian fusion restaurant is getting raves for its use of a touch pad-projection system that also allows diners to send food orders directly to the chefs and makes the dining experience fully interactive (the system is based on a flash/actionscript). You can also check the kitchen (they have cams there!) and select the mood of the table by choosing between different ‘place mat’ images and videos. Appart from all this tech it seems the food is delicious too, which makes this restaurant a must go! Also check Max explaining Inamo's interactive menu :)
